On November 5th, 2022, DYOPATH hosted a table at the Best Buddies Charity Gala. Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical, and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Their programs empower the special abilities of people with IDD by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy, communication skills, and feel valued by society.
Among DYOPATH’S Core Values, ‘Do The Right Thing’, aligns the greatest with Best Buddies mission. Being able to help others is a large focus of DYOPATH, and supporting a charity that helps those who have disabilities be able to learn new skills is of great importance to DYOPATH.
