We can’t wait for you to join us and contribute your creativity, passion, and entrepreneurial spirit at DYOPATH! We are currently hiring an onsite Field Service Technician to cover the Chicago and Illinois suburbs area.

Position Details:

  • Location: Chicago and suburbs area
  • Pay: $22/hour
  • Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday

Job Description:

As a Field Service Technician, you will be the hero our clients rely on for exceptional technical support. You'll assist them by phone, email, and onsite visits to 12 different school districts, ensuring their tech runs smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily tech functions (network, email, software systems)
  • Support macOS, Windows, iOS devices, Google Console, VMware
  • Knowledge of Workgroup Manager, Open Directory, Active Directory
  • Install and troubleshoot computers, servers, peripherals, interactive teaching tools
  • Repair/replace non-functioning equipment
  • Create/update computer images
  • Maintain/upgrade networking equipment
  • Install/support software and updates
  • Ensure software license compliance
  • Support telephone system issues
  • Maintain physical security and inventory of computer assets
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Certifications:

  • 2+ years in hardware/software installation and maintenance
  • Software deployment via Network/Server/MDM
  • Effective communication skills
  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology or 2+ years work-related experience
  • Must have reliable transportation as this position requires travel from site to site
