James Melchor is the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) at DYOPATH and is responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision and leading all aspects of the company’s technology capabilities development. Melchor works as a technology advisor and collaborates with internal departments including managed services, delivery, program management, sales and marketing, finance, administration, program and operations to improve the security, efficiency and resilience of DYOPATH’S services and client specific solutions. Melchor adds more than 20+ years of experience and demonstrated ability in evaluating, selecting, and implementing technology solutions, policies and procedures to increase the depth and breadth of DYOPATH’S service offerings to clients.
He is responsible for cultivating the technical talent of DYOPATH through inspiration, innovation and through leading by example. His leadership of DYOPATH is grounded in his determination to inspire others to achieve quality, dedication and honesty. Melchor’s hometown is Katy, TX. Prior to becoming the CTO of DYOPATH, Melchor started his tech career building servers for Compaq/HP on an assembly line at the age of 18 and his passion for tech was sparked. Melchor and his wife currently reside in Katy, TX with their two twin daughters and one son ranging in age from 16 to 20. Outside of work, Melchor enjoys baseball, fishing, and building things. His favorite book is “Extreme Ownership” by Joko Willink and his favorite podcasts are Ted Talks.
