What We’re Looking For: Desktop Support Analyst I

We're seeking a tech-savvy and detail-oriented Desktop Support Analyst I to join our awesome team. If you’ve got a passion for tech, troubleshooting, and helping people (in person, over the phone, or via chat!), this is the job for you.

As a Desktop Support Analyst I, you’ll:

  • Solve puzzles by investigating and resolving user-reported hardware, software, and company systems issues.
  • Work with end-users to provide tech support—installing, deploying, and maintaining computers, laptops, scanners, printers, and more.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles, empowering your colleagues to troubleshoot like pros.

The Details:

  • Location: Onsite daily in Tampa, FL - zip code 33619
  • Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
  • Pay: $26.39/h

What You’ll Do:

  • Tech Troubleshooter: Analyze user requests and incidents, providing top-notch technical support for PCs, laptops, software, and peripherals.
  • User Hero: Organize meetings with users to resolve incidents and provide face-to-face, phone, or chat support.
  • Task Tracker: Keep tabs on incidents and tasks using our ticketing software, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Knowledge Guru: Create and maintain knowledge-base articles, and document processes to build out self-service capabilities.
  • Vendor Liaison: Act as a point of contact for 3rd party vendors and technicians.
  • Update Master: Perform updates for Microsoft security patches, anti-virus files, and other software.

What You Bring:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or four years of comparable work experience.
  • Certifications: A+ Certified preferred, but not a must
  • Skills: Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting, and working knowledge of MS O365 Suite.
  • Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well with a team and prioritize workload.
  • Customer Focus: A customer service-oriented mindset.
