The Numbers

90% of businesses that do not have a recovery plan could not survive a disaster. 33% of businesses were not prepared for a disaster, despite having a recovery plan. 12% of businesses were completely unable to recover their data after an attack.

Disaster Recovery with Zerto

DRaaS powered by Zerto is the industry’s most comprehensive hypervisor-based data replication solution for VMware vSphere. It offers a faster recovery and RTO with production-class replication targets for SSD, SAS or SATA per virtual machine.

Disaster Recovery with Veeam

DRaaS with Veeam utilizes Cloud Connect to establish a connection from the tenant’s on-premise Veeam Backup & Replication (B&R) Server to DYOPATH’S Veeam Provider instance.

Protect Your Most Important Assets

Regardless of the circumstances, a catastrophic loss of business-critical data can permanently destroy an organization’s ability to operate. Even a temporary data disruption can have a major impact on its chance for survival. Most physical property can be replaced; data cannot be easily recovered unless the organization has made investments in a disaster recovery or backup plan.

Snapshot, Replications, Backup

A snapshot is a point in time “picture” of the state of a virtual machine’s disk(s). Individual files cannot be retrieved from a snapshot. Replication is the process of copying data from one location to another to maintain a mirrored version of the machine on separate media. A backup is a full copy of the virtual machine’s data and applications, taken while the VM is in a prepared state and usually saved separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Service Overview

What is Disaster Recovery as a Service?

We copy your critical systems and data to our cloud servers in real time. If disaster hits, we bring everything back online from our data centers so you’re back up and running.

How is DRaaS different from backup?

Backup gets your files back. DRaaS gets your whole systems back online. With DRaaS, you’re back in business fast, not just recovering data.

What types of disasters does DRaaS protect against?

Everything. Fire, flood, ransomware attacks, hardware failures, power outages, someone hitting delete by accident. Anything that shuts down your main systems.

Technical Details

What's the difference between Zerto and Veeam options?

Zerto copies your data continuously. You lose almost nothing. Veeam copies on a schedule—usually every 15 minutes to an hour—and works with your existing Veeam backups.

How often is our data replicated?

With Zerto, it’s constant. Only seconds of data lag. With Veeam, we’re talking 15 minutes to an hour between copies depending on what you pick.

What's RTO and RPO?

RTO is how long till your systems are back online. RPO is how much data you might lose. Both depend on the plan you choose.

Recovery Process

How long does it take to recover after a disaster?

Critical stuff usually comes back in 1 to 4 hours. Your whole setup might take till end of day depending on how big it is.

Can we test disaster recovery without disrupting operations?

Totally. We run test failovers all the time. Your real systems keep working while we make sure recovery actually works.

What if only part of our infrastructure goes down?

You can bring back just the systems or apps that broke. No need to recover everything if only one thing went down.

Cost & Planning

How much does DRaaS cost?

Depends on how much you’re protecting. Most businesses are looking at $1,000 to $10,000 a month.
